A striking vintage Kutchinsky 1972 textured diamond set bombe ring , crafted in 18ct white gold and fully hallmarked for London 1972. Designed in a sculptural bombé form, the domed head has a distinctive hand-textured, radiating finish centred with a brilliant-cut diamond in a polished rubover setting. The texturing continues onto the shoulders and shank, giving the ring the bold, tactile quality characteristic of Kutchinsky jewellery of this period. Signed Kutchinsky beneath the head and bearing the Kutchinsky maker’s mark alongside full London hallmarks for 1972. A wonderfully individual example of British jewellery design from one of the most celebrated London houses of the 20th century. The ring weighs 8.4g and can be resized.
