Gold Keeper Ring

Gold Keeper Ring, set in Hallmarked 9ct Gold, Birmingham. This particular band is designed with 22 gold balls, separated into parallel lines and enclosed with intricate rope design. The head of the ring measures 8.5mm x 19.3mm. A Keeper ring was originally used to prevent a more valuable ring from slipping loose. In modern times keeper rings are worn as statement pieces, often paired with signet rings and gold bands.
