Edwardian Pearl & Diamond Clover Brooch. Stunning clover brooch with 42 pearls and 4 diamond set in 15ct yellow gold. The leaf heart shape sections have 12 pearls with a small transitional brilliant cut diamond claw set in the centre, the biggest diamond sits in the middle of the clover design. The openwork design creates a delicate lightness typical of refined late Victorian and Edwardian jewellery. Rich in symbolism, clover jewellery traditionally represented luck, hope, faith and love, making pieces such as this highly cherished sentimental gifts during the Victorian era.
