Art Nouveau Pearl and Paste Butterfly Set

Stunning Art Nouveau Pearl and Paste Butterfly Set, with peridot and amethyst accents.

The necklace measures an open length of 17.5″. The central butterfly pendant measures 56 mm x 36 mm approximately and is decorated with claw set white diamond paste, a central 4mm diameter peridot and two accent amethysts on the tip of each wing. Five rows of stringed natural Baroque pearls are separated by paste embellished spacer bars.

The bracelet measures an open length of 17.5 cm. The central butterfly pendant measures 49.5 mm x 30 mm approximately and is decorated identical to the necklace. Five rows of stringed natural Baroque pearls are separated by paste embellished spacer bars that tapper towards the clasp at the back. The clasp is also pate embellished and has a small figure of eight safety hook.

The butterfly wing earrings measure 62 mm in length including 35 mm of pear string. The earrings are 16mm in width and have english lock backs. Each earring is embellished with claw set paste diamonds, two peridot and two amethyst and have three strings of pearls approximately 2 mm in diameter.

The colours of the gemstones represent the suffragette  ‘Give Women the Vote’ movement of the 1920/30’s.
