1899 Trombone & Knot Link Albert Chain

A beautiful 1899 trombone & knot link albert chain crafted in 9ct light rose gold, fully hallmarked for Chester 1899. The chain is formed from elongated open trombone links alternating with decorative twisted knot connecting links, creating an attractive contrast of clean lines and intricate detail. The twisted links catch the light beautifully, while the warm tone of the rose gold gives the chain wonderful character. Originally designed as a gentleman’s pocket-watch chain, it is finished with traditional swivel dog clips and a central T-bar drop. Worn today around the neck, the distinctive link pattern gives this Victorian Albert a wonderfully wearable and contemporary feel. The chain weighs 42.1g.
