A substantial Edwardian twisted trombone link 16.5″ Albert chain crafted in 9ct yellow gold, featuring an unusual variation of the classic trombone link. The chain is formed from elongated twisted trombone links, each gently turned through its length so that the links alternate in orientation and create a fluid, almost ribbon-like effect around the neck. Originally designed as a gentleman’s watch chain, it is finished with a traditional T-bar drop and dog clips fastenings, but at 16.5 inches it sits particularly well around the neck as a striking antique gold necklace.
