Art Deco Cartier London Diamond & Blue Enamel Cufflinks
£3,250.00
A superb pair of Art Deco Cartier London Diamond & Blue Enamel Cufflinks, combining 18ct yellow gold, platinum, blue enamel and diamonds in a beautifully refined geometric design. Each oval panel features a finely engine-turned platinum centre, creating a series of concentric lines radiating around a central brilliant-cut diamond. The platinum is framed by a rich dark blue enamel border and an outer gold edge, giving the cufflinks the crisp contrast and precision so characteristic of Cartier’s Art Deco jewellery. The four central diamonds have a combined weight of approximately 0.40 carats. The oval panels are joined by traditional gold chain-link connections, and the reverse is signed “Cartier London” and numbered 1010. Numbered Cartier London cufflinks from this period are well documented, including examples dated to circa 1930. A particularly elegant example of early 20th-century Cartier gentleman’s jewellery. The blue enamel has some wear to them contingent with their age but the links on back are in excellent condition. The diamonds are 0.10cts each, G-H in colour and VS1 clarity. The total weight of the pair is 12.7g and each oval measures 1.28mm x 1.67mm.
