At Saddingtons Jewellery, we buy antique and vintage jewellery with character, quality and individuality. We look for the same things when buying as we do when choosing pieces for our own collection: excellent craftsmanship, beautiful materials, interesting design and genuine appeal.

We specialise in Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco jewellery, as well as selected vintage and contemporary pieces. We do not deal in costume jewellery. Our focus is on genuine jewellery made with quality materials and workmanship, from pieces with history and rarity to those that simply stand out for their design.

When we assess a piece, we look closely at its quality, condition, materials, gemstones, craftsmanship, hallmarks and provenance, as well as its desirability and current market value. We know what makes a piece special and what collectors and jewellery lovers are looking for.

You don’t need to know exactly what you have before getting in touch. Send us some clear photographs and any information you have about the piece, including its age, history, hallmarks, gemstones or where it came from. Original boxes, paperwork and other documentation can also be useful.

We love jewellery with a story, so if you know something about the history of your piece, tell us. A family heirloom, an unusual find or a particularly rare design can all make a piece more interesting.
