Art Nouveau Silver Suffragette Pendant, set with Peridot, Amethysts and Diamonds. A beautiful, powerful and emotive timepiece. The colours of the stones represent the strong message ‘Give Votes to Women’ or GVW. The green peridot stands for ‘G’, the violet amethysts stand for ‘V’ and the white diamonds stand for ‘W’. The plique-à-jour violate enamel means letting in daylight, when the pendant is held up to the light the enamel illuminates. This pendant is in incredible condition and would make an amazing statement piece for any wonderful woman.
The central Amethyst measures approximately 13.3 mm x 10.8 mm, surrounded by four 3.8 mm diameter Diamonds, with three teardrop’s hanging below (one Peridot, 2 Amethyst). All stones are rub-over set. The total pendant measures 50 mm x 70 mm (including the 33.50 mm chain and loop). On the back of the pendant is noted ‘sterling’.
